There are many places you could go and be part of a Female based D/s family. What about this place has drawn you to it?

There are literally dozens of female based D/s sims. Some of them are rich in content and have outstanding toys. Some have extraordinary dance floors. Some have live entertainment on a weekly basis. Some are so popular that one can visit at any hour of the day and find from 25 to a hundred avatars on sim.
They all have many things in their favor, but The Gardens of Abydos has one thing none of the others do. Its people.
The women of Abydos are an eclectic ensemble of strong women. When I speak of strength, I refer not only to the strength of the Goddesses, but of the Princesses, slaves, subs and everyone else associated with our family.
The Women of Abydos are beacons for women across the grid, always noticed when they visit other sims. Always recognized for their stature, their confidence and their beauty.
I was drawn to Abydos by the people, the openness, the welcome.

Oh I like that! And yes, I am going to get a snapshot of me in world and post it as my picture. I am much cuter than that alien. But yes, we need the feeling that we can be ourselves, not always be on the defensive against aholes looking for what I call "easy pickings". I have never felt threatened while at the Gardens, which is more than I can say for many many other places.

You make a very good point Linda, there is an air of safety on Abydos. I think we all feel that there is someone watching out for us and will have our back. There is always a welcoming smile and a calming hug whenever you arrive. It is like coming home.

If anyone needs a helping hand, I'll do what I can. It doesn't matter who is whose Goddess or girl, if someone needs an ear or a hand, I'll help.
